Learn Brazilian Zouk, No Experience Required

Our dance classes make learning Latin partner dance simple.

-

This school was made for people who think they "can't dance".*

*We think you can dance just fine, by the way.

Fun First

Learning dance can be hard and frustrating, and as with all new things, mistakes will be plentiful - but we have our priorities straight.

You are dancing to have FUN, and we keep it that way, by creating a fun, safe environment.

Unique Teaching Methods

We work hard on delivering the knowledge and experience you need in relatable language without making you feel like you are drowning in elaborate technical terms, or too much information. Dance classes made simple!

Community

Being around people who care and want to connect with others is key to enjoying dance, and life.

Community and relationships are the keys to happiness - we don't say it, science does!

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do classes work? What should I expect?

No partner or prior dance experience required. After registration and signing our personal injury waiver, you'll grab a name tag, and head into class. Our teachers will lead you from there, through some opening words, a warm-up, and then into class.

While class is in session, the group will usually stand in lines or in a circle, with their partners. You will choose how close you dance with your partner. As the class goes, partners rotate so everyone gets to dance and practice together!

The class is not very physically intensive, but you might break a sweat and get some exercise in. At the end of the class, after event announcements and questions, we will play music for you to practice with your fellow students.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes, including shoes, preferably flat shoes. Whatever makes you feel comfortable, and most importantly - smell good, you will be dancing close to other people.

How much does it cost?

Tuesday classes are free for first time students, and $10 after that. Monday and Thursday classes cost $20 for a drop-in, but we offer class plans, with the most popular ones being $75 for 5 classes, or $100 for 10 classes. We also offer flexible plans for traveling or shift-working folks.

What do y'all have going on next week/next month/tomorrow?

Our monthly schedule is pinned to the top of our facebook page, with all the events of the month. We also post daily on IG and FB so follow us there to stay up to date.
